How these pages are written
This is the rule sheet behind the tools and guides. It exists so a person — or a crawler — can see that pages here are meant to do a job, not to multiply keywords.
One job per URL
A tool builds, reads, cleans, compares, or checks. A guide answers one question a marketer actually asks: why tag traffic, when not to tag, why Ads and GA4 disagree, how to audit a list. We do not publish “UTM for [every brand name]” clones with the same three paragraphs swapped.
People first, then machines
Titles describe the job. The first paragraph states the problem in plain language. Examples use real parameter names. Internal links use descriptive anchors (“fix Unassigned traffic,” not “click here”). Collection pages (tools, guides) organize work, they are not doorways to thin copies.
What we will not scale
We will not auto-generate a guide for every ad platform with a find-and-replace. We will not spin the same FAQ across twenty URLs. We will not stuff keywords into titles that a person would not say. That is the behavior search systems treat as scaled content abuse and spam. If a topic is not a distinct job, it stays a section inside an existing page.
AI and assistance
Copy on this site is written to be used at a desk: specific mediums, specific failure modes, specific next tools. We do not publish unreviewed machine drafts as articles. Schema, llms.txt, and the ai-content-declaration meta tag exist so summarizers do not invent extra UTM keys. If a page is updated, the reviewed line changes.
Experience the pages assume
Readers ship Google Ads, Meta Ads, email, or partner links and report in GA4. We write from that workflow: Ads Manager suffixes, Meta URL parameters, ESP buttons, QR proofs, Unassigned in Traffic acquisition. We do not claim this site is a Google product. Channel-group hints are readings of common default rules — confirm with a test click in your property.
Corrections
If a parameter name or channel rule changes, the related tool and guide should change together. Start at about or open the builder.
